Safe Streets 4 All (SS4A)
Lincoln County was awarded a Safe Streets Grant to improve roadway safety and reduce serious injuries and fatalities for all roadway users. This funding supports data-driven planning efforts that identify high-risk areas and develop strategies to improve safety for drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and emergency responders.
Through this grant, the County has completed safety planning activities, public engagement, and roadway safety analysis to guide future improvements. The goal of the program is to create safer, more accessible transportation routes while supporting long-term infrastructure planning across Lincoln County.
Opioid Abatement
Lincoln County receives Opioid Abatement funds to help address the impacts of the opioid crisis within the community. These funds are dedicated to prevention, treatment, recovery, and education efforts aimed at reducing opioid misuse and improving public health and safety.
Opioid Abatement funds may be used to support programs and services that expand access to treatment, provide education and prevention resources, assist first responders, and strengthen community-based solutions. All funding is required to be used in accordance with state guidelines and focused on long-term strategies that benefit Lincoln County residents.
